The living space at Pines and Tides is bright and inviting, with abundant natural light streaming in thanks to its south-facing sun exposure. The warm, cozy atmosphere is enhanced by wood paneling that extends from wall to wall, giving the room a rustic charm and an extra layer of comfort. The open, spacious kitchen is fully equipped, perfect for preparing meals with ease and enjoying quality time together. The Master Bedroom offers a luxurious king-size bed, perfect for a restful night’s sleep. The Guest Bedroom features both a queen-size and a full-size bed, providing ample space for family or friends. Both bedrooms are bright and sunny, with ceiling and desk fans to ensure a cool, comfortable atmosphere. Each room is designed for relaxation, offering a cozy and warm environment that makes it easy to unwind after a day of exploring Maine. The Patio is the heart of the home, offering magnificent views of the rivers and the surrounding nature. Tall trees create a secluded, private space where the only sound is the majestic flight of eagles overhead. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon tea on the cozy couch. As evening falls, light a fire in the fire pit and relax under the stars, creating lasting memories in this peaceful, tranquil setting.

Guest access

Guests have full access to the entire ground floor of the house, as well as the surrounding field. The property is private and peaceful. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times. You’ll be staying in someone’s home, so please treat it with care and respect. Restricted Areas Garage: The garage is not included for guest use. However, if you need access for storage or other purposes, please contact the host. Loft: Please refrain from using the loft, as it is for private use only. If you need access, please contact the host. The home is located approximately one hour from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. There are few stoplights along the way, and a shortcut is available, so travel time is often shorter than what Google Maps suggests. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like directions or recommendations.

Other details

Wildlife The property may occasionally be visited by local wildlife such as deer, geese, wild turkeys, and porcupines. These animals generally avoid humans and are more afraid of us than we are of them. However, please be aware of their presence and take appropriate precautions to keep yourself and any children safe by maintaining a respectful distance.
